CAS BOARD OF
DIRECTORS
Robert Boyd
President
Robert, born in Huntsville, Ontario and educated in Alberta and British
Columbia, is the President of Orca Creative Group Inc. the northwest’s
oldest and most respected three-dimensional marketing firm.
Additionally, Robert chairs the board of the Washington State
International Trade Fair and sits as a member of the Governor's Task
Force Subcommittee for the 2010 Winter Olympics.
Garth Hornland
Vice-President
A
native of Edmonton, AB and a graduate of the University of Alberta. Garth
transferred to Seattle in 1992 to assist in establishing a new district in
Seattle for PCL Construction Services, Inc. Garth currently holds the
position of Senior Manager, Finance and Administration for PCL’s Pacific
Northwest USA operation.
Gail Kruk
Treasurer
Gail, who continues to live
in British Columbia, works for Larson Gross PLLC and heads up the
International Tax and Cross Border Services team which specializes in
serving the needs of both corporate and individual clients doing business in
the US and Canada.
Brenda McKelvie
Secretary
Brenda
was raised in
Fort Frances , ON. Currently living in
Seattle , WA , she is a Relationship Manager and
Lender with Washington First International Bank. She
has held both the Treasurer and Secretary posts for the
CAS.

Carley Andrews
Board Member
Carley grew up in White Rock,
BC and is a graduate of the University of British Columbia and Harvard
Law School. She practices intellectual property and technology
transactions law at K&L Gates in Seattle.
Michael Herbst
Board Member
Michael, who
grew up in New York, has been a business lawyer in Seattle for 17
years. He has served as Chairman of
the International Practice Section of the WA State Bar Association
and as a member of the Executive Board of the
British American Business Council. Michael is a
Foreign Legal Consultant in BC.
Andrei Kreptul
Board Member
Andrei is a native of Edmonton, Alberta and a graduate of the University of
Alberta, McGill University and Seattle University School of Law. He
practices Canada-U.S. cross-border securities law with Harris, Mericle &
Wakayama PLLC in Seattle, WA.
Anne Marie Meehan
Board Member
Anne Marie was raised in Toronto and is
a graduate of the University of Toronto, University of Windsor and
Dalhousie. Currently living in Vancouver, BC, she is a Senior Private
Banking Advisor with BMO Harris Private Banking.
Sherry Moir
Board Member
Jim Terry
Board Member
Jim was
raised in
Tillsonburg , Ontario. He is a graduate of
Wilfrid Laurier University (undergraduate and
Masters in Business) and is a member of the Society of
Certified Management Accountants of Ontario. Jim moved
to
Seattle in 2005 to continue working for Starbucks
and currently holds the title Director, Finance for the
corporate Business Planning and Analysis team.

Melissa Richardson
Board Member
Melissa, a native of Sarnia, ON, is a graduate of The University of Western Ontario, and received
her MS degree in Buffalo, NY. She has volunteered over the years as
the Academic Chair, Secretary, Social Chair, and Web Administrator for the
CAS.
Joel Tovel
Board Member
Joel Tovel, originally from
Montreal, QC, is a Financial Advisor with Key Investment Services.
